It’s swatch time, oop oop! Damn I’ve been waiting for a long time to try NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. So long that I ordered six of them at the same time, hah. Prepare for a along post and a lot of selfies. To be honest I can’t remember when was the last time that I took so many selfies. At one point I was constantly taking pictures of myself but for some reason I’m not that into it anymore. But! For you my loves I do my everything.
I tried my best to take pictures that show exactly how the shades look like on my skin tone and how they differ from one another. In addition I wanted to include which are my favourites and why. I divided the shades into three parts to make it a bit easier to see the differences :)
Comment if you liked this post! I’ll definitely do more of these if you are interested. By the way, have any of you tried these shades or generally NYX’s lip creams?
LE NATUREL LIPS
Out of these two STOCKHOLM is definitely my favourite one. CAIRO is a bit too light for me so I tend to mix it up with the other colours to get a beautiful ombre effect. Tho, I can already imagine being tanned and wearing CAIRO. Let’s see! About the consistency, CAIRO is a bit thin in my opinion and dryer then the rest. To get the most out of this shade I apply two layers and before applying the second one, I let the first layer to dry for a moment. This gives a maximum coverage.
Out of these two I’m yet to decide which one is my favourite. I’m leaning towards SYDNEY as it’s such a freaky colour but yet it works really well. BUENOS AIRES is a bit like Cairo but has more of and orange and peachy tone to it. Like CAIRO, Buenos Aires is a bit dryer so I use the same trick as with Buenos Aires. I’m curious to see how long the product will last as the consistency it a bit different. But don’t worry, it’s completely normal that different shades have a different consistency.
HELLO LIPS! I’m so in love with these two, amazing coverage and smooth application. One of the reasons why I absolutely adore matt lipsticks is that it gives you an possibility to create an illusion of fuller lips. The magic is in over lining your lips a bit, and because the product is matt, the peak of your lips aren’t highlighted. My favourite of these two shades is MOROCCO, I love how bright, almost neon, it is. Can you imagine having a tan and then Morocco on your lips. Died.
That’s it! I was thinking on swatching Kardashian Beauty’s lip products next. What do you think? (;
